If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Hi everyone,

I’m not sure if you remember last year I sent an email about government grants available for any women who would like to teach or be a leader in their given sport. well the grant is open again for applicants. Out of the 74 applicants accepted Lilly and i were included. This is just one way our sport can become more recognised by the government. Below is the information i gave last year. the application would also be open for you to do a judging course if you like or any other ideas you may have in leadership roles for the sport. Lilly and i are happy to write a recommendation from the WBA to go with your application.

PostHeaderIcon Become a Level 1 Surf Coach (and get it paid for)

Emma Roby have just finished my level one coaching course. The government paid for me to do this. YES!!! The government is helping womens bodyboarding grow. Zoe and Julia sent through a link for me to look up and apply online. Thanks girls. It took half an hour to fill out. The next round of government grants for women in leadership roles are starting early next year. It does state you have to be in an active role, paid or volunteer in the sports industry. If you have some self motivation and are super keen to do it, Lilly will be happy to write a supporting letter for coaching purposes involving WBA. Please check out the link below for more information regarding the grant:
