If you haven’t heard the Interweb buzz, Fluidzone.com is alive again and will be bringing you Pipe, live! Here’s the word from the man at its helm, Phil Gallagher:

Ten years ago a man with a strange name created a website which gave the general bodyboarding public its first faceless voice. Rabi, a Western Australian techno wiz looked into the future and saw the need for an online bodyboarding community via this new thing called The Internet and thus Fluidzone was born. For a long time his site was the biggest bodyboarding website in the world and lead the way for all the tech savvy websites, blogs and twittering ways of our industry today.

Fluidzone was so popular that some well trained hackers broke the main frame and infiltrated the database and brought the site to a standstill. Eventually reeking havoc which Rabi could not repair. So on the Ten Year Anniversary of Fluidzone I am very proud to head up the new website and push the GO button on a totally new site. Our big brother, Swellnet that a lot of you already know and use for daily surf forecasts and reports is behind the relaunch of the site. Fluidzone will bring you all of these state of the art tools for forecasting and live surf cams, but be 100% bodyboarding content.
